Movement of the mud mat
Movement of the mud mat
EcoAlpha’s AEROGO service was introduced to TechnipFMC, a free demonstration was conducted on their base using the mud mat(skid) as a test sample for movement. The team had a site induction by the safety officer on site. All safety protocols were in place for work to proceed. A toolbox talk was first carried out to identify the possible hazards associated with the job and all control measures were put in place before commencing the job.
The base provided the source of air with their compressor available. All the air hoses were connected with a whip check arrestor to safe guard the system. A forklift was used to load the mud mat onto the air casters in their correct positions for balancing. The mud mat was safely moved from one position (about 100m range) to another and back to its original space.
All hoses were then disconnected and the air was deflated to take away the air casters beneath the mud mat safely.
